Coats

  • Distinctive feature, non shedding, easily maintained
  • A single coat from fleece to wool in texture, hair coat is undesirable
  • Fleece coat is similar to angora goat in texture
  • Wool coat is similar to lambs wool in texture
  • The coat should be straight, wavy or forming spirals
  • Coat should not be overly groomed
  • Sun bleaching is acceptable
  • The coat should appear to be fleece rather than dog hair
  • It is acceptable to see a change between the puppy coat and the adult coat
