    Exercise

Watch out for slippery floors and stairs….these are very bad for puppies developing joints and ligaments.

A labradoodle puppy should only be walked on a leash for 10 minutes at a time when they first arrive.

By 6 months they can walk for 15 minutes and up to half an hour in one session once they are 12 months old. You can build up their stamina and distance after this age. This is to avoid repetitive forced movement of joints.

Puppies can exercise off leash as much as they like as this is self regulated and they move freely and rest when they want.
